The present study aims to investigate the possibility of domestic wastewater treatment using biological system combined with chemical-physical processes, including Upflow Sludge Blanket Filtration (USBF) technology and PolyAluminium Chloride (PAC). Experimental results showed that the added PAC content plays an essential role in improving the treatment efficiency and reached National Technical Regulation on domestic wastewater QCVN 14:2008/BTNMT (Column A). With Jar-test results, the optimal pH of 7.0 and the PAC dosage of 170 mg/L were recorded with the highest removal efficiencies for suspended solids and organic matter. In the modified USBF bioreactor, the findings illustrated the pollutant removal efficiencies such as Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD5), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), and Suspended Solids (SS) were equal to 96.2 ± 1.4%, 85.8 ± 4.4% and 99.3 ± 2.1%, respectively. The parameters of BOD5 and SS met QCVN 14:2008/BTNMT - Column A. In the future, this advanced filtration technology can be helpful for wastewater reclamation and reuse to cope with water scarcity.
This work presents a benchmarking study between Lagamine, an in-house developed finite element (FE) code, and COMSOL Multiphysics® (Comsol) commercial software in thermal analyses to investigate their capability in modeling complex manufacturing processes. For this purpose, two case studies, including a NAFEMS benchmark for heat transfer with convection and a Directed Energy Deposition (DED) of a bulk sample, were used as test cases. The simulation models using Lagamine and Comsol solvers for each case were described. The underlying algorithms and theories, as well as the soft-ware development, are investigated. The computational results indicate slight differ-ences between Lagamine and Comsol solutions in both case studies. For the NAFEMS test case, the results obtained with Comsol solver appear to be less dependent on the mesh size than those obtained with Lagamine. For the DED test case, within the chosen configurations of Lagamine and Comsol codes, the maximum difference in the highest peak temperatures obtained from the two codes is about 20%. From an engineering point of view, it is suggested to determine parameters of the FE model consistently with the selected FE code to provide the best match with experimental observations.

Abstract Cultural relations between Vietnam and China, of course, need no further assertions. But this process of cultural relations, then requires further studies to see the diversity of this cultural relationship. We, in this report, present the cultural relationship between Vietnam and China through poems written on the topic of Zen - Buddhist on the way to the mission of Vietnamese ambassadors in the last 18th century and early 19th century, in three main aspects: the reception of the Buddhist cultural space, the sense of meditation in front of the temple, and the intimacy between the envoyers and the Zen masters and officials of the North. From there, we hope to contribute an additional perspective on the Vietnamese people's position - the same level position, in the cultural exchange between Vietnam and China. Keywords: Cultural relations, Enyoy poetry, Envoyer, Vietnam - China, Zen - Buddhist.
Vietnam's economy is operated to serve more than ninety million people so this is a very vivid picture. The large population brings many advantages to the food production sector in general and the production of fresh noodles in particular. Fresh vermicelli is the raw material for processing many dishes of the Vietnamese people for a long time, that's why there are many Vietnamese dishes with indispensable ingredients, which as Noodles in the national culinary books. Vietnam. The production of fresh vermicelli with the main ingredient is fermented and shaped rice with simple steps, but hidden inside there are environmental issues that need to be considered. The production and business associated with environmental protection are the responsibility of most enterprises and production facilities in Vietnam. The fresh noodle food production industry is no exception. Instead of learning about the aspects that affect the environment in the traditional way of collecting information, analyzing, and evaluating the current situation, this time the research team looked at understanding the causes of environmental pollution in terms of consumption. ISO 14001 international standard. ISO 14001 Environmental Management System is an international standard that helps businesses and establishments identify the important role of the environment as well as the risks brought by the environment, thereby realizing the environment as an activity of the Organization. In this standard, the commitment to prevent environmental pollution is a mandatory condition, so determining the environmental aspects to overcome the impacts is a key element of the standard. If a business achieves ISO 14001 Certification, it will have a very good effect in promoting the corporate image of being responsible for the environment and the community. As a response to global warming and climate change, climate change adaptation aims to lessen the susceptibility of social and biological systems to relatively abrupt change and so counteract the effects of global warming. Openness and cooperation are key tenets of an adaptation strategy; as a result, mechanisms for a wide range of stakeholders are included in the creation and execution of adaptation strategies. However, few poor nations have made a point of involving stakeholders in decision-making processes for climate change adaptation. In many regions of the world, there is a notable dearth of concrete plans to include stakeholders in the adaptation of policy-making and implementation. This study uses Viet Nam as a case study to evaluate the level of stakeholder involvement in climate change adaptation strategies. The findings demonstrate that the Vietnamese government has adopted a "top-down" decision-making strategy, in which the government plays the primary role, communities and NGOs have a minimal impact on the creation and implementation of policies, and the private sector is only involved in the implementation phase. Stakeholder participation has generally been acknowledged in Vietnam, although the country's national climate change policies have not been adequately implemented. As a result, the policies for adaptation are unlikely to be effective in the unique settings of diverse places and may not be embraced by all stakeholders, which may ultimately limit adaptation activities. Viet Nam is advised to encourage participation by many stakeholders in the formulation of policy. Other countries can adopt the lessons from Vietnam while creating their adaptation policies.

This study deals with the stiffness design of geometrically nonlinear structures using topology optimization. Bi-directional Evolutionary Structures Optimization (BESO) is employed to implement the design process. The geometrically nonlinear behavior of the structures are modeled using a total Lagrangian finite element formulation and the equilibrium is found using a Newton-Raphson iterative scheme. The topology optimization of linear and nonlinear modeling are implemented. The sensitivity of the objective function is found with the adjoint method and the optimization problem is solved using BESO’s update method. Objective function of complementary work is evaluated. A special technique called the continuation method is applied to solve the instability of nonlinear structure optimization. ANSYS APDL is also used to do FEA of optimal topology to verify the effectiveness of geometrically nonlinear modelling. The results show that differences in stiffness of structures optimized using linear and nonlinear modelling is generally small but it can be large in some cases, especially structure highly involving buckling behaviour.

Research and assessment of sludge management in Thu Dau Mot wastewater treatment enterprise. The composition of the sludge depends on the composition of the wastewater, the wastewater treatment process and the sludge treatment process. The most common non-toxic organic compounds include materials of plant and animal origin such as proteins, amino acids, sugars, fats ... compounds containing N, P... Toxic organic compounds include compounds of PHA (Poly-nuclear aromatic hydrocarbons), alkyl phenols, polychlorinated biphenyls (PSBs) organochlorine pesticides, phenols, chloro-benzenes ... Heavy metals such as: Zn, Pb, Cu, Cd, Ni, Cr, Hg, As… (in the range from 1ppm to 100ppm). Some of these compounds can be toxic to humans and animals. Therefore, it is necessary to control the concentration of heavy metals in the sludge before disposal or reuse. Harmful microorganisms such as pathogenic bacteria, viruses and protozoa together with parasitic helminths can increase the potential harm to human, animal and plant health. Inorganic compounds such as silicates, aluminates, calcium and magnesium compounds.
